About Us

Online Livestock is Australia's first real classified site dedicated to Livestock.

Designed with the Australian Farmer in mind, Online Livestock is focused on delivering a superior website with time saving features but still retain a personal approach.

Online Livestock came about in its early days when property owners, Phill and Kylie Moores, were researching various breeds of livestock to suit them and their property.

Countless hours of searching across many avenues left them frustrated and wondering why there could not be a more consolidated point of reference.

Kylie and Phill decided to research the possibility of starting such a venture and the internet held the key. The idea was to create a one-stop shop, allowing advertisers and viewers to easily buy, sell or source information at the one location.

After much research and months of contacting organizations, property owners, going to countless field days and dealing with many government departments and relevant businesses, the idea for Online Livestock was officially born!

Online Livestock Pty. Ltd. was launched and has since become a major source for Livestock and Livestock information Australia wide.

Advertisers may place FREE classifieds with no restrictions or hidden fees.

Online Livestock is committed to growing and servicing the needs of livestock owners, agents and businesses throughout rural and regional Australia.

The future in advertising is Online Livestock - www.onlinelivestock.com.au

Rain postpones water saving technology field day to 17 March

A planned demonstration of a new irrigation water saving technology near Moree that was recently postponed due to wet weather has been rescheduled for 17 March.

Rain is good, but burnt out pasture needs care and a bit of time to recover

Recovery looks promising in the south of the State after rain delivered the best start to an autumn for many years, but don’t rush back to grazing, warns Industry & Investment NSW, Tumut district agronomist, Nathan Ferguson.

Warning for pregnant ewes: Go easy on the Grass

Exceptional autumn rains have produced a bumper crop of grass in many parts, but Industry & Investment NSW (I&I) is warning farmers that pregnant ewes can have too much of a good thing.
